sexuality: Yuna is heterosexual. I'm not saying I'm not open to having that change. She is a young woman who's very confused about her life in general, but it really would take a lot to convince her that she likes women. I know 'never say never' and all, but I can certainly say 'probably not' in this case.

on the surface: Yuna is a small, young woman with short, brown hair that just barely reaches down to her shoulders. A single, beaded strand hangs down just in front of her ear, often mistaken as an earring. She has a heart-shaped, sweet face and a gentle smile, and her most striking features would have to be her mist-matched green and blue eyes.

As for clothing, she's still wearing the robes she sported on her journey a year ago to defeat Sin. Her ensemble looks something like a modification of a traditional kimono, with a detached, white shirt wrapped around her front yet leaving her back bare and separate, long, flowing white sleeves with pink-dyed tips. She wears a bright, yellow obi that is embroidered with floral designs, the most notable a hibiscus flower in the front from which a long, beaded cord hangs down past her knees. Yuna's skirt is a long, dark, purple color with a single slit up the left side. Along this slit and across the hem of the article is a pink, floral design. She wears black boots with the outfit, and her only accessories are a simple, silver necklace and a matching ring.

the thief inside of my head: Yuna is at an interesting point in her life. Since her adventures on the infamous Summoner's Pilgrimage, she's learned a lot about life. She's still quiet, respectful, and polite to mostly everyone she meets, even a bit shy at times. However, in her eyes lies a quiet determination and strength that cannot be measured. Yuna is driven and serious to a fault, but now that her life has changed so, she doesn't know exactly where she's supposed to go. All of her ideals and all that she believed in were shaken. A year ago, she was willing to sacrifice herself so that her people could enjoy a brief, ten years of happiness. Now, she realizes that such sacrifices aren't worth it when the hope and peace that would've been granted were mere shadows of the words.

Yuna was serious, naive, and stubbornly driven. Now she's a strong pillar of hope, the only summoner to ever permanently defeat Sin, and she more or less puts on a face again or the public. Living life in Besaid and being constantly visited by those wishing to pay her tribute has left her wondering if there isn't something she's still missing, another path that she should be taking.

ex-summoner: Yuna lost her ability to summon Aeons when she performed the Sending ritual for them in the wake of Sin's defeat, but she's still a very capable white mage. She knows nearly all of the spells associated with the art, and a list can be provided if you'd like.

As far as combat ability goes, Yuna can't hurt a fly. She carries her staff with her most of the time, but we all know how effective she is with that.

cracks in the mirror: Aside from being about as useful in combat as a fly running into a steel wall, Yuna is in a very confusing point in her life. She's being pressured by dozens of new organizations sprouting up all over Spira to support them, and she's still coping with Tidus' disappearance. She's unsure of what to believe in and where to go right now. She isn't as naive as she once was; now she feels simply lost.

the part we all play: Yuna became a summoner at a young age. Her father was a legend in her home world of Spira, the last, known summoner to defeat Sin and give her world ten years of peace. Though she far too young to understand the obligation of being a summoner, Yuna was determined even at the age of seven to become one so that she could give her people the gift of ten years of peace, just as her father had.

After Braska defeated Sin, Yuna was taken to a remote, island town called Besaid by a close companion of her father's, a Ronso named Kimhari. There she was raised and managed to become good friends with the locals, particularly Lulu and Wakka. They treated Yuna as their little sister and took care of her. Those were happy times, but Yuna never forgot her vow to bring peace to Spira when it would again need it most.

When she was 14, Yuna began her training as a summoner under the watchful eye of the Temple Summoner in Besaid. She was taught the true duty of a summoner and found that the only way to defeat Sin when it returned would be to sacrifice her life in exhange for a mere ten years of peace. Yuna was steadfast, however, and wanted more than anything to give her people even a brief time to not fear the creature that plagued their world every decade. Despite Lulu and Wakka's protest, Yuna began her training and completed it when she was 17, the very year that Sin came back to plague Spira once more.

A strange boy came to Besaid that day, a boy who claimed to be from Zanarkand, a city that had been destroyed ages ago by the first coming of Sin. He happened to come upon the city just when Yuna was completing her trial to be pronounced a full-fledged Summoner, and it was upon winning her good graces that he was allowed to accompany her and her boydguards on the pilgrimage to collect the Aeons and defeat Sin. He eventually even earned the right to be her boydguard, though he knew nothing of the price Yuna would have to pay to defeat Sin. In time the two grew to care for one another, and it was his strength that taught Yuna to think for herself more and find another way to defeat Sin. When she came to the point where she was asked to sacrifice herself or and one of her guardians, she defied the natural order and went on with the people she loved to destroy Sin forever, though she had to defy the religion that she'd served for so many years to do so.

In the wake of Sin's defeat, it was discovered that the young hero she'd fallen in love with was but a dream that would fade away with the changing of her world. It was nigh impossible for her to simply let him go, but she resolved to keep in her heart and support Spira as it coped with the changes that would need to be made.

Yuna was offered a place of high power to reconstruct the religion that had been brought to its knees when the true nature of it had been exposed. However, she quietly declined and went back to Besaid to keep the temple there. She was visited by dozens of people and was given the title of High Summoner, though she had no will or desire to take part in the New order of Yevon that was rising up. She was a hero, a saint... Yet still something was missing. Perhaps that was why she was drawn to this new world, to find that something.
